Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Answer This For Me, operated by Restfully, collects, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to deliver a question and return an answer, we do not sell any of it, and the recordings belong to the people who make them.
What we collect
From the buyer: your name, your phone number or email address, the question you send, and your payment, which is handled by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details; we receive a confirmation and the last four digits. From the person answering: the name the buyer gave us for them, the phone number or email address the buyer gave us, the recording or text they submit, and the delivery timing they choose. From everyone: standard technical information when you visit the site, such as browser type, device type, and pages viewed. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To deliver the question, to collect and store the answer, to deliver the answer at the chosen time, to send receipts and service messages, to process refunds, to answer support requests, and to keep the service secure. We also use aggregate, de-identified information to understand how the service is used.
Recordings
Recordings and typed answers are private to the person who recorded them and the person who asked, plus anyone the person who recorded chooses to share with. We do not listen to recordings except when needed to resolve a support request or a legal obligation, and we do not use them to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems. We do not sell, license, or publish recordings.
Text messages and email
We send text messages and emails only to deliver questions, deliver answers, and send receipts, reminders, and service notices. We do not send marketing texts. Anyone receiving a text from us can reply STOP to opt out. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the service, including payment processing, text and email delivery, hosting, and customer support tools, and only to the extent needed to do their job for us. Law enforcement or others when required by law or to protect the safety of a person. A successor if Restfully is acquired or merges, under this same policy. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
How long we keep it
Answers are hosted for up to ten years from the recording date, after which we may provide a downloadable copy and remove our hosted copy. Account and order records are kept as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Contact details for a person who has replied STOP are kept only on a suppression list so we do not contact them again.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, download, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@restfullycare.com. If you are the person who recorded an answer, you can ask us to delete your recording at any time, including before its delivery date. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we honor those requests for everyone regardless of location.
Children
The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and questions may not be sent to minors except by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Recordings and personal information are stored with encryption in transit and at rest, and access inside Restfully is limited to people who need it to run the service. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information we will notify you as required by law.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way we will email people who have made a purchase before the change takes effect and update the date at the top.
