Terms of Service

As of January 1, 2026

Answer This For Me is a service operated by Restfully (“Restfully,” “we,” “us”). By buying a question, sending a question, or recording an answer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service is

You pay to send a question to a person you choose. We deliver the question to that person by text message or email using the contact details you give us. They can record a spoken answer of up to thirty minutes, or type one. The answer is delivered to you at the time the person answering chooses: one day, one month, one year, or ten years after they record it.

Pricing and payment

A single question costs $5. A Bulk Pack of 25 questions costs $100 and includes one bonus question that you answer yourself and may send to anyone. Prices are in US dollars and exclude sales tax, which is added at checkout where required. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number. Nothing renews automatically. There are no subscriptions and no other fees.

Refunds

If you are not glad you did this, we will refund your purchase for any reason. Contact us at support@restfullycare.com. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you know the person you are sending a question to, that you have a reasonable basis to believe they would welcome hearing from you, and that you have the right to give us their phone number or email address. You may not use the service to harass, threaten, deceive, or contact anyone who has asked not to be contacted. You may not send questions to anyone under 18 unless you are their parent or legal guardian. We may refuse or cancel any order that we believe violates these terms, and we will refund it.

The person answering

Answering is voluntary. The person you ask may decline, ignore the question, or reply STOP to any text to stop receiving messages from us. By recording an answer they confirm that they are at least 18, that the recording is their own, and that they understand it will be delivered to the person who asked at the time they choose. They may also choose to share an answer with additional family members on the service. We do not pay people to answer and we do not sell access to answers.

Who owns the recordings

The person who records an answer owns it. By recording, they grant you and us a license to store, deliver, play back, and download that recording for personal, non-commercial use. We do not claim ownership of any question or answer, and we do not use recordings to train artificial intelligence or machine learning systems.

Storage and access

We will host answers for up to ten years from the date they are recorded. After that we may send you a downloadable copy instead of continuing to host it. You can download any delivered answer at any time. If we ever plan to shut down the service, we will give at least 90 days’ notice by email and make all delivered answers available for download during that time.

Delayed answers

When the person answering chooses a delay, the answer is sealed until that date. We cannot release it early, including at your request, except as required by law or with the written consent of the person who recorded it.

What we are not responsible for

We provide the service as is. We do not guarantee that a person will answer, that a text or email will be delivered, or that the service will be available without interruption. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email people who have made a purchase at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the change.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
